"Health and Safety for Directors and Business Owners

Under the new HSAW Act there is a responsibility for the officers to apply "due diligence" to the health and safety program in their company. This duty, if not carried out correctly, can result in fines of up to $600,000 and a criminal conviction of up to five years in prison.  This two hour workshop aims to inform officers of the new legislated requirements and allow them to quickly identify if they have a problem within their organisation for which they are liable.

  • An overview of the new legislation and how it will impact on the offircers within a company
  • An overview of what is required in a due diligence program for health and safety
  • A quick screen of the board to determine if they are receiving the correct information
